THE ALLY OF HIGHER EDUCATION
Why deploy 2tonnes?
To ensure that everyone has the knowledge and skills needed to understand the challenges of ecological transition, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research recommends that all programs include at least 30 hours of courses on ecological transition in the undergraduate cycle by 2025, along with 3 ECTS credits.
The 2tonnes workshop allows participants to develop a broad range of knowledge and skills related to ecological transition in just 3 hours.
The workshop covers concepts such as carbon footprint, the scale of CO2 emissions, and action levers for mitigating climate change. It integrates these reflections into a systemic view that considers all the components of ecological transition, including planetary boundaries and Kate Raworth's Doughnut Theory.
This content is offered to students to open a day of workshops!

PEDAGOGY OF THE WORKSHOP

2tonnes: a pedagogical resource tailored for teaching
The 2tonnes workshop is an easy-to-use educational resource, flexible in its implementation, and particularly effective in its teachings!
It quickly sparks momentum within your institution and accelerates the integration of ecological transition issues into your curriculum. It is also highly aligned with GreenComp, the European framework for sustainability competencies.
